How can I decide what kind of job to study for? My school counselor told me, there are plenty of jobs for the field that I wanted. Since it was my future, I decided not to trust them. When I investigated I found that government funding for that field had been cut off. There were no jobs being offered. Just the opposite to what the counselor said.
When it's your future investigate yourself. Trust no one person. I usually ask three independent sources, then choose weather or not to follow their advice. As for jobs, School, why study? See: To see how many jobs await your educational choices. Will there be a job opening in the field of your choice after you graduate from school? The Government Occupational Outlook Handbook at the library will tell you!
Don't just study for a job that may or may not be there when you graduate! Make sense?
