Attitude Can Overcome Any Handicap.
I have seen wheelchair users do turns on one wheel, swinging freely, and coming up over the curb, at stoplight corners!
Beth Currier is in a wheelchair, but gave about 7,000 horse rides to kids, last year. She is up at the crack of dawn, getting her summer kid crew breakfast, and ready to charge off for the day!
Her foreman helps load the equipment up, and off they go to set up! Traveling to her location for the day, they get busy spreading joy wherever they go!
She is the mid-counties media mascot, and inspires harder work, and a positive attitude wherever she is! Beth really has to sc**** to make ends meet, at her nonprofit ranch. But she will gladly put up wheelchair users as guests for the weekend. They will get a wonderful treat!
If you are in a wheelchair, but would like to know what sitting on a horse feels like, then maybe! UCLA built her the only wheelchair user's lift to horseback in the world!
Although she would be thrilled to put up many, her cramped quarters can barely manage three. But if you would like to be put on a waiting list at 805-489-4751.
Perhaps you'll get a collect call, from ''Rancho Des Los Animales'' after 7 pm one night!
Donations are tax deductible, and would be a blessing! After all, she is giving everything she's got! Beth is one of God's angels here on Earth, and would truly appreciate your gift!
Make checks out to: Rancho Des Los Animales
2736 Green Place
Arroyo Grande, CA 93420-9634
There is a very unfortunate side to this story. The ranch is downwind to a nuclear power plant.
IN THE EVENT OF THE PREDICTED QUAKE, SHE AND ALL VISITORS WILL SUFFER A HORRIBLE DEATH FROM RADIATION!
If you have a ranch that you could donate, or could find one, please let her know! A great weight will be lifted from a truly wonderful woman! A SHINING EXAMPLE to all, that,
HANDICAP IS MENTAL!!
